What counts as normal on a Spanish CV — a photo, a date of birth, a marital status — will get the same file quietly discarded in the UK or Germany.     What do I need to do to get a quote?
    Send us the file or files you want translated and we will get back to you quickly with a no-obligation quote.
    How do I send you my CV?
    Use the form on this page to attach it. Please send a Word document if you can, although we can also work with PDFs and image files.
    What if I want to translate more than one file?
    No problem — attach them all to the form at once. There is no limit on the number of files, and we never compress them.
    What if I want to translate my file into more than one language?
    Again, no problem. Pick the languages in the form, or just tell us in the comments box which ones you need.
    How long does it take to receive a quote?
    We reply to all messages as quickly as possible. During office hours, quotes are normally answered within two hours of receipt.
    What do I do if I agree with the quote?
    Simply reply to our email and let us know. We will send you the next steps and a payment link. Often the quote email already contains both, in which case just follow the instructions in it.
    How do I pay?
    Through the secure PayPal platform, using a PayPal account if you have one or a credit or debit card if you do not.
    What if I prefer to make a bank transfer?
    Just let us know and we will send you the details. As it can take up to three working days for funds to reach us, send us proof of payment so we can start immediately — a photograph or screenshot of the confirmation screen is enough.
    Do I need to tell you that payment has been made?
    No, except if you paid by bank transfer. For PayPal and card payments we receive automatic confirmation and get started.
    Can I pay when I receive the translation?
    No, we are afraid not. Payment must be made before we start. This is the policy that works best for us.
    How long will it be before I receive the translation?
    Once we have confirmation of payment, the whole process normally takes 24 hours, provided confirmation arrives during office hours. Payment confirmed Monday before 17:00 CET means delivery Tuesday; after 17:00 means Wednesday morning; Friday before 17:00 means Monday; Friday evening or the weekend means Tuesday morning. Longer files or unusual language combinations can take a little more, and we will say so in the quote.
    How will I receive the translation?
    By email, as a Word file, so you can make amendments any time you wish.
    Do you keep the layout of my original CV?
    Yes. If you give us a Word document — or another editable format such as .odt or .rtf — the layout of the final translation will be identical. If we have to convert a PDF or an image, we will do our best, but obviously cannot guarantee an identical layout.
    Will my CV be translated by a native, professional translator?
    Yes, absolutely. We only work with native, qualified translators of English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian, Chinese and any other language.
    The terminology in my CV is very specific. Can you handle it?
    Yes, absolutely. We allocate your job to the translator in our team with experience in your field of work. Our proofreading team are then the second and third line of support, making sure the terminology is right.
    Is it possible to get a sample translation before proceeding?
    No, we are afraid not — we do not provide sample translations. We have helped thousands of job hunters translate their CVs; if you need reassurance, have a look at our Google reviews.
    What if I have queries about the final translation?
    We will of course be happy to help with them — free of charge, obviously.
    What if I am not happy with the final translation?
    Although highly unlikely, send us examples of anything you are not happy with and we will review the translation with those in mind. If we think it can be improved, we will do so. A refund may be given if we believe the translation does not meet our standards.
    Can you write me a cover letter based on my CV?
    Yes, no problem — we have excellent experience in this. Tell us whether you are applying for a specific position or making a speculative application, and what roles you are after, and we will write you a winning cover letter.
    Can you advise whether my CV suits the market I am applying to?
    Yes — just let us know and we will quote for it. Our CV consultants know what is expected in different international job markets and can make sure your CV meets those expectations.
